Construído com aproximadamente 20.000 tiras de tecido branco e preto, WONDERWALL é um espaço projetado para apresentar "The Pool" da artista Jen Lewin.

Este museu temporário é 100% suspenso a partir de clarabóia da praça central do Centro Comercial Colombo, em Lisboa, e apresenta uma pele abstrata que serpenteia com os fluxos de ar e à circulação de pessoas.

A centralidade da peça é enfatizada pela fachada totalmente permeável, que permite entrar e sair ao em qualquer ponto da periferia do espaço cilíndrico, em vez do sistema clássico da entrada e saída principais.

Para conteolo do contraste e brilho, a obra de arte não é visível do exterior; na verdade, a cúpula apresenta-se como uma grande tela circular que evidencia o processo manual de construção, criando uma estrutura téxtil única.

 

Built with approximately 20,000 strips of white and black fabric, WONDERWALL was designed to present "The Pool" by artist Jen Lewin.

This temporary museum is 100% suspended from the central square's skylight at Colombo Shopping Mall, in Lisbon, Portugal, and presents an abstract skin that oscillates with the airflows and the movement of people. 

The centrality of the piece is emphasised by the fully permeable facade that allows entering and exiting along the entire periphery of the cylindrical space, instead of the classic system of main entrance and exit. 

For contrast and brightness control, the artwork is not visible from the outside; in fact, the dome presents itself as a big circular weaving screen that highlights the manual construction process, bringing out a unique textile texture.
